SCHOOL HOLIDAY PROGRAMS
A school holiday program for vacation care centres.
An active and engaging exploration of Sydney’s former Quarantine Station site. History delivered through fun – dressing up, role-playing, bandaging limbs, carving inscriptions, making sculptures on the beach and playing old-fashioned games.
Children and their carers will make their way to different buildings and areas of the old Quarantine Station to participate in activities facilitated by our fabulous education guides. Groups are encouraged to stay after the formal visit to play on our lovely harbour beach, visit the Visitor’s Centre Exhibition and enjoy a coffee or ice cream from our café.

This tour is an active learning experience with much of the visit occurring outdoors and walking around the site, engaging with the natural environment. We run the program in all weather (except extreme conditions) and will modify it as needed.
Vacation Care programs do not include ghost stories unless we receive written consent from the Centre Director that it is deemed appropriate, for children over 9 years old only. Bookings for Vacation Care / OOSH visits during the school holidays are coordinated by Fun Day Out.
