les sculptures in the spotlight
Our residency artists Lucy and Jane have been working hard on their installation for Les Sculptures in the Spotlight! They have been collecting rubbish from around the edges of Quarantine Station and North Head, using it to make an art installation which will reflect their concern for the environment and their ever-increasing passion for the diverse history of Q Station.
Lucy and Jane have enjoyed meeting members of the public and guests of Q Station while they work, seeing it as a key part of their project. Pop in and say hello!
If they are not off foraging the coast line they can be found up at the Hospital Precinct.
Exhibition dates to be announced shortly!
Follow @janevgillings and @lucybarker85 for onsite updates!
