booking terms & conditions

Please read these terms and conditions carefully. They provide the basis on which bookings for Q Station are accepted.

how to book / quotes and reservations:

Rates quoted are per room per night based on two guests sharing a room (with the exception of cottages where it is based on four guests per cottage).

Bookings can be made online at www.qstation.com.au or by calling our Reservations Team on +61 2 9976 6220.

Reservations are subject to availability and actual pricing at the time of booking.

Booking enquiry calls may be recorded for quality and training purposes.

deposits

A credit card deposit of 50% is required at time of booking. Q Station reserves the right to charge credit card one night's accommodation in case of cancellation within 24 hours or no-show.

For groups of 10 or more, a non-refundable deposit of 50% of your first night's accommodation must be received immediately by credit card to confirm the booking. Payment of this deposit will indicate acceptance of these booking conditions.

Mawland Quarantine Station Pty Ltd bears no responsibility for monies paid via a travel agency until cleared funds are received.

cancellations

Notice of cancellation or amendment to a reservation must be provided in writing. 24 hours prior to check-in, cancellation fee is 100% of first night stay.

No shows and cancellations after check in time (14:00 on day of arrival) will be subject to a cancellation fee of 100% of total stay charge.

rates

All room rates include a cooked breakfast for two guests. All cottage rates include a cooked breakfast for four guests.

Additional breakfasts must be purchased for additional guests occupying rooms or cottages (including children).

Whilst every endeavour is made to maintain our prices, we reserve the right to vary the rates quoted without notice at any time.

Saturday night stays must book for Friday and Saturday night or Saturday and Sunday night as a two night minimum is required (1st October to 30th March)

All room rates include GST.

check in/out

Rooms are available from 14:00 on the day of arrival. For guaranteed availability of your room prior to 14:00, pre-registration of room for previous night is required.

Rooms are to be vacated at 11.00 on the day of departure.

special offers

All bookings are subject to availability and allocation of rooms. When this allocation is reached, the hotel cannot accept any more bookings at this rate, even though the hotel may not be fully booked.

pets

Unfortunately pets are not allowed on the site at any time (apart from guide dogs) as they may cause disturbance to our native and endangered wildlife population.

smoking

All rooms are no smoking. Smoking is discouraged however, there are designated areas on the site where smoking is permitted.

interactive experiences terms & conditions

appropriate footwear

Absolutely no thongs or sandals may be worn during any interactive experience at Q Station. Customers wearing inappropriate footwear will not be allowed to join the interactive experience and there will be no opportunity for a refund or to reschedule. It is advised to wear comfortable walking shoes. If you have booked this interactive experience on behalf of other people, please ensure this information is communicated as it is regretful when customers are not allowed to join the activity.

your fitness level

Please note that our interactive experiences include some walking that involves some steep inclines and declines at times.

what to wear

Being an outdoor activity, we recommend bringing a hat and sunscreen for the day time interactive experiences and wet weather clothing if rain is forecast. We recommend that guests bring water with them, particularly on warmer days. It can get quite cold in winter so ensure you wear warm clothing.

cancellations

Bookings can be cancelled up to 48 hours prior to the start time of your interactive experience. A 10% cancellation fee is chargeable and will be taken off the refunded amount. Alternatively you can reschedule your interactive experience up to three months after the date of the original booking, subject to availability. Please note that cancellations will only be accepted by telephone. Bookings cancelled within 48 hours of the interactive experience date cannot be rescheduled or refunded.
