Tours Update
There is plenty going on at Q Station this summer... Why not take one
of our interactive tours or experiences - perfect for the whole family.
Choose from the following:
Defiance - Friday & Saturday
40 Days - Saturday & Sunday
Spirit Investigator - Friday
Adult Ghost Tour - Wednesday, Thursday & Saturday
Family Ghost Tour - Friday & Sunday
As you can see, the Adult Ghost Tour continues, and with
more guides on our books this year, we can offer event more tours.
New look Waiting Shelter
Our waiting shelter in the main car park has recently undergone a
transformation with new information panels installed. These panels give
visitors an overview of the activities, facilities and development of
the Q Station and are the perfect way to get more information prior to
entering the site.
Defiance
The first season of Defiance will end on January 24th, so this is your
last chance to see the production with the current actors before they
go onto other projects.
Children’s Summer Program
We have 3 exciting new activities for you and your children to do on
Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays during the summer school holidays.

Tuesday - 6th,
13th & 20th January (6.30-8.30pm)
Cost: $22,
Family: $85; Ages: 6-14 years
When kids stayed at the Quarantine Station they heard strange sounds at
night and it wasn’t always the ghosts! The same kind of beasties that
made those noises are still lurking in the bushes here now. Learn
all about them on this special school holiday experience. Come
along and have a peek…and maybe hear a few ghost stories. What will
make you jump?

Wednesday- 7th,
14th & 21st January (3.30pm-5pm)
Cost: $19,
Family: $75; Ages: 6-10 years
Ever seen a real live Dragon? At the Q Station we’ve got plenty
and if you’re quick you can catch a glimpse…of Eastern Water Dragons,
Bandicoots, Kookaburras and other fascinating creatures. Listen
to tales of how new settlers coped in a strange land crawling with
weird animals. Come and explore and maybe see your first real Dragon!

Thursday- 8th,
15th and 22nd January (10.30-12noon)
Cost: $19,
Family: $75; Ages: 6-10 years
Before TV and computer games what did kids do for fun? Come on a tour
packed full of fun and games and find out.
Wharf Precinct Self Guided Tours
Now you can pop into the Visitor Centre and grab one of our booklets to
wander around the Wharf Precinct in your own time. The Self Guided Tour
will take about 30 minutes, and the booklet provides you with plenty of
information on the buildings, their uses, significance and the flow of
Quarantine passengers in times past.
